Annual report on the situation of democracy in 2007  

The Democracy Status Watch began its activities in this respect with field observations of both presidential and parliamentary elections made in 2005 in the three phases of the latter one. It published two studies on these elections. It also observed the elections of labor unions, professional syndicates, political parties, chambers of commerce, industries unions, student unions, university faculty, sport clubs, religious organizations, etc. The EACPE found out trucial need for watching and monitoring elections in Egypt.
