Shura council elections' indicators statementThe government dispenses with electors
In a unique incident in the history of elections global wise, the semi-renewing elections of the Egyptian Shura Council was marked with a number of inter-relating phenomena concerning the involvement of electors. Certain electoral districts were opposition free and the percentage of participation was as low as 3%
In other districts where NPs candidates took part, those candidates gathered their allegiances to vote for them along with the efforts exerted by the government, its security men and bodyguards to prevent the participation of regular electors. It is obvious that the government does not care much about the public's participation in the electoral process and that it over-looks any form of supervision; be it judicial or even by the High Committee of electoral supervision- it is evident that the government is determined to have these elections its own way. :The most important indicators came as follows Very low public participation, 3% percent in best cases in best balls Participation percentage is higher in balls with strong opposition candidates or candidates with strong tribal competition or brotherhood candidates Security men and ruffians prevent electors from reaching through the balls (No Participants Wanted) Executive branches, security and the National Party abhor the civil society supervision and tend to break any law in broad daylight, treating the supervisors as national enemies No evidence of the existence of the so-called High Committee on electoral supervisionAbsence of the judicial supervision in branching balls has lead to the return of the free over-boarding of the electoral boxes with fake IDs.The National Party has taken solemnly the bullying role and the violence presence; this violent phenomenon came between the National Party (A) and (B). In some Lower Egypt's balls, the Muslim brotherhood candidates were victims of this violenceSecurity was commissioned with handling the forbidden opposition and their allegiances, where as in balls where NPs were competing with each other, it was left up to them to settle their mess· The election's stock market is totally wrecked in these elections, where the Egyptian government and the national party have over-thrown the Egyptians votes and decided to handle things differently!!
Muslim Brotherhood candidates and followers are considered national enemies and not Egyptian citizens
