The ninth report, the end of the voting process and the procedure of closing the balls

Within the framework of activities of the EACPE’s “Democracy Status Watch”, the monitors have followed up final stage of the elections from 5:00pm to 7:00pm (the finale), and it is going to observe the selection process and the announcements

:The monitors ' indicators came as follows

: Asyout

The indicators of the final stage of voting show a low rate of participation, for example in El Salam primary School by Seliem Cost in polling places from 190 till 195, the presence rate was 110 out of 3789 and in polling stations 196 till 206, in Malhaket Dar El Mo'alemeen School the presence was 55 out of 8017, and in the collaborated unit in El Shamya and the parliamentary School in El Shamya, the voting rate was 280 out of 4937

The polls closing reports took place and there were micro buses ready to transfer the boxes to the selection place in El Badry police station, which is 120 km away from some of the polling stations

:Alexandria

The voting rate was very low, about only 3% till the end of the day

Only the NP delegate was present through the boxes closing procedure

The selection will take place in the main polling station in Shedwan School, Mensha St, in Moharam Beck

:Bab El Sha'rya

Since 5:00pm, all the monitors, electors and delegates were prevented from entering the polling stations, as the process of faking the votes took place

:Damanhour

The voting rate is very low in all polling stations, and the faking of votes increased during the last hour

The selection will take place in the Secondary Military School, in Damanhour

:Suez

Starting from 5:45, all the NP followers started faking the votes in all the polling stations, and when the watch's delegate objected, they physically abused him

As a result of the fake voting procedure at the end of the day, in polling stations number 165, 740 candidates were elected out of 780 in Ahmed Shawky School and also 653 candidate out of 667 were elected in poll number 257in Kabriet

In polling place 160 Ahmed Shawky School, and polling place 61 in El Shohada School, an officer paid about 120 to 200 pounds to the chief and security of polling stations around 6:45pm

All polling stations were closed with the presence of the NP delegates only, and the selection will take place in the covered stage in Suez Stadium

In the tourism Secondary School, the polling station were closed at 6:45. In El Fakrya School and Nasr City Namothagya School, the polling stations were closed at 6:30 without any consideration to the legal procedures of the closing, and the boxes were transferred without the presence of the monitors and delegates

:El Fayoum

The polls were closed at 5 and the faking of votes took place in a fast rate

The selection was to take place in the schools and secondary polls to report to the polls' chief by phone, the decision was not taken into action and Gamal Abdel Nasser School in Bandr El Fayoum was decided as a selection place

:Embaba

In El Kaher School, the polls' chiefs and policemen are present out side the polling stations and the boxes were left alone for quite a long time

Though the presence rate was very low, the boxes when removed were noticed to be full with voting cards

The boxes were transferred to the selection poll in El Manashy in private buses with the presence of the polls' chiefs, police officers and policemen, who were present in the polls all day

Generally speaking, in most districts where the Democracy Status Watch has followed up the electoral process all day, it has been noticed that from 5:00 pm, monitors and delegates were prevented from entering the polling stations, except the NP delegates. It was also noticed that during that time, faking the votes took place in a high rate
